Diaphragm (Phrenic) Pacing

Diaphragm or phrenic pacing provides support for patients whose respiration is chronically insufficient. Typically, these patients have had high spinal cord injuries, a paralyzed diaphragm, central sleep apnea or other central neurological disorders.
