Neuromodulation: Technology at the Neural Interface Journal

Neuromodulation is a peer-reviewed, quarterly publication that was launched in 1998 as the journal of the International Neuromodulation Society (INS) and its national chapters. Since 2000, it also has been the official journal of the International Functional Electrical Stimulation Society

(IFESS). Neuromodulation publishes original clinical and scientific articles, scientific reviews, abstracts of papers accepted for review at national and international congresses, and news of events and activities of the INS, IFESS, and their memberships.

The journal represents the practice of a growing, diverse multidisciplinary field responsible for delivering enormous benefit to patients by improving function and reducing suffering. The in-depth articles help to expand your knowledge and understanding of the interface between electrical stimulation, chemical neuromodulation, and the body.

  • Simple and advanced search options, including searching through PubMed and CrossRef (CrossRef Search allows researchers to restrict Google-generated search results to peer-reviewed journals)
  • Reference management software
  • Online Early publication of journal issues
  • E-mailed tables of contents alerts and citation alerts, through which users are made aware when articles that they identify are cited by new articles in Blackwell Synergy
